As many Chicagoland dog owners know, if a bar does not have a kitchen, they can choose to allow dogs inside. These are some of Tipsy’s favorite places to stay warm in winter.

Innertown Pub:

Offering free pool and weekday happy hours, this cozy neighborhood bar is a great escape for you and your pup. Often crowded late at night, your dog will likely have plenty of space early in the evening. Enjoy the local beer list while playing the jukebox. Cash only.

The Walkin:

Your pup will channel their inner hipster at this Logan Square bar. The extensive cocktail list includes a “Farmer’s Market Cocktail,” a rotating creation sourced from the Logan Square Farmer’s Market.

For a pup (or human) who loves popcorn, this Greektown pub is a great no-frills place to catch a game and enjoy a cold beer.

Sleeping Village:

Open at 11 am daily, this is bar and work-space serves beer, cider, coffee and tea. It’s a great way to “work from home” with your pup in the afternoon, and transition nicely to a beer in a judgement-free zone before 5:00. Dogs are allowed from 11 am - 7 pm each day, afterwards the space may evolve into hosting a concert for the evening. Cash only.
